C Ager Art: Olympia Series

I chose this pose partly because it enabled my model & I to explore the ideas of peaceful contemplation, equally because it establishes the link to contemporary, British, European tabloid newspaper images.

Viewers of this painting might consider how such photographic poses influence the younger generations in their inter-gender relationships, placing greatest value on how a person looks. An image projected, less about the true value, worth or cost of the relationship.
